Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

Objective 1: Describe the role that families play in student learning both in the physical classroom and in the virtual classroom.

Objective 2: Discuss the barriers that families face when forming personalized partnerships with teachers around their student’s learning and analyze their own beliefs and practices to determine barriers that are caused through practice.

Objective 3: Plan for and incorporate new strategies into their development of family partnerships that allow all families to have a voice and prominent role in their student’s learning.

As a result of this course participants will be able to develop personalized family partnerships that empower every students’ family to take an active role in the learning success of their student.
